Emergency Dental Care
Unfortunately, most people don't receive quality dental care on a regular basis. They go only when it hurts. At Legacy Dental Care we call this "crisis treatment" as opposed to "preventive treatment." This situation usually ends up costing much more in bot dollars and time than visiting the dentist regularly. The reason is simple - most dental problems don't have any symptoms until they reach the advanced stages.
Tooth decay is a great example. At Legacy Dental Group we hear all the time, "Nothing hurts... I don't have any problems." But tooth decay typically doesn't hurt! Until, that is, it gets close to the nerve of the tooth. At this stage a root canal and crown are usually necessary. Our doctors can usually detect a beginning cavity well before it may develop any symptoms and treat it with a simple (and less expensive) filling.
Of course, there are the unforseen and untimely dental emergencies also. From the weekend toothache to the traumatic avulsed tooth, our doctors are available for consultation and, if need be, to see patients on an emergency basis at any time.
